About Us
The Tri-Mountain Soccer Alliance in Clark County was conceived in 2004 by Gary Cullen from the Lewis River Soccer Club in Ridgefield, Brad Dow of Central Vancouver SC and Steve Strylewicz of Westside SC. in Vancouver. None of these Clubs could support an effective Select organization themselves so they decided to pool the players from all three Clubs to form Select teams under the Tri-Mountain banner. Since then, Tri-Mountain has risen from a fledgling set of seven teams squeezing out a few wins to one of the most successful Select organizations in the State of Washington.
Four things set Tri-Mountain apart from the others. First, we are very careful in our coaching recruitment to have not only qualified coaches from a skills standpoint, but also coaches who are respectful to the referees, other teams, and especially their own players. Second, we all are very supportive of each other as fellow Tri-Mountain coaches. Third, we specifically designed our structure to allow flexibility in coaching styles. We don’t think any single system is best and do not mandate any one system. Finally, we make every effort to keep the cost low. We have no paid coaches or any extra fees outside of uniforms and tournament costs. Our costs are among the lowest of any Advanced Competition organization in the state.
